Depending on the geographical area, the ceiling height, the sun exposure of your home, the insulation and frames, the electrical power to be installed may vary.
There are a few different formulas that allow you to do the calculation depending on the supplier/brand...
But what is the simplest and most practical method to know the value to be installed?
Example:
In the cities of Guarda, Covilhã, Bragança, Chaves the power to be installed should be between 120 W/m2 and 150 W/m2 and in regions such as Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Alentejo and Algarve the powers should be around 80 W/m* and 100 W/mz depending on the rooms to be air conditioned.
In rooms with a mezzanine or high ceilings, for example above 6 m, the amount of heat to be supplied to the room is necessarily greater than what we need to heat the same room with a ceiling height of 3 m.
Based on the experience gained in thousands of applications from our partners, we have verified that the average power is 80/100 W/m2 and that under these conditions the results are extremely satisfactory.
